As new intern in my internship site, everything for me was new. My supervisor did not offered me the different work, but there were also had challenge sometimes. As my job to call the patient, I had to knew how to read their names, but it's hard for me to read every single name clearly, and my supervisor were so busy, I could not asked them all the time. I got nervous when I went to my internship, but I could not gave up, I had to overcome the challenge. I had to figure it out how to pronounce all the name, I tried and tried again, every time when I pronounce the name right, I would felt more comfortable, and I did better and better.

I have been work in my internship for 11 weeks, during those time I have find out there are a person who work with caution and with will, which is my supervisor.And we couduct the interview.

S: I'm from Pakistan.
A: Where did you go to college? For how long? Would you like to go back to school?
S: I went to Ashworth University,I studied online, and then went to Kingsborough Community College. I would like to go back to school, but maybe later.
A: How long have you worked here?
S: I work here for two years.
A: What's your job title?
S: Clerical Assistant
A: What do your duties include? Another way of asking this questions is,"What kinds of work does your job involve?"
S: Ahead the appointment, schedule...
A: What is the best part of your job?
S: To deal with patients and help them.
A: Do you plan to open your own business one day?
S: No, not yet, maybe later.
A: How has having an intern helped your company or organization?
S: Yes, must of the time.
A: What advice would you give to teenage interns(such as myself) getting ready for college?
S: First, think about your career,then choose college and keep on one track.

S: First, you have to think about what you personaly like,don't force yourself or depend on someone else.
A short time interview bring me surprise, even my supervisor is not a reputable or did not go to a famous college, but she's hard working and kindheart inspire me to pursue my dream, to grow as a person.

Midpoit Reflection

My internship has been different than my expectations. It has been a little bit bored, everyday I did the same things and that's not fun at all. The culture of my internship workplace environment, there are a lot of kids from different races, they are happy and funny. Just like the student in IHSL's school. I have been learn new networking skill, I think that may help me to apply at other jobs in the future, because to learn how to communicate with other people and work with them is very important. The co-workers and I just like teacher and student.In our workplace,I asked a lot of question and they like teacher taught me a lot.My English have been improved a lot since I began internship.I have to call a lot that the way to improved.So far I did not have any challenges at my internship because I think that what I'm doing was so simple. But one thing I thought that was challenge me was I felt too tired to do my homework, and I had a lot of homework everyday, sometimes I could finished it until midnight and that could made me felt more tired. We still have six and a weeks of internship left, I hope to accomplish during the remaining weeks are:1,I can do some challenge work.2,I can do something new.

F W O Internship -- Part 3

The third and fourth weeks is much better than the first two weeks. Because the first two weeks, everything for me was new. I had to used more time to figure it out, and I had a lot of homework to do everyday that made me felt tire. But now everything I learn by heart, became much easier, and I had time to do my homework.

Four week of internship-- part 2

The name of the neighborhood that my site is located in: 2601 Ocean Parkway Brooklyn, NY, 11235. Its not far from school, is about 15 minute bus. I'm work for four days a week, Monday to Thursday, everyday I leave school about 11:45, and arrived at home about 4:30. And everyday that's an officer who work in voluteer office sign my time card for me.
